Question about new Prada Gauffre E/W bag......

I just received my new Prada Gauffre bag from Bluefly this morning and am a bit disappointed by something. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me if it doesn't look like someone simply took a dark brown magic marker and colored in the darker areas by the seams?

There's another walnut gauffre on the site now. Click on the zoom and have a look. I'd send this one back and order the other. Is this the satchel?

On the dustbag, I've had NM stiff me on dust bags before!!

Edit note: definitely send it back. That one looks like S**T!

I did send it back!

Well mine is in the box all ready for DHL to pick her up. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who had the problem and I'm glad to know that it was authentic. Just disappointed with the bag, maybe I'll just put that $ towards another coffer (not really) .

I've seen several irl that look like this. With the gauffres in this color you either get lucky or not I feel.

hehe you might want to check dark green one (called Boca I guess) I saw at NM,if you can't find blue one you are looking one

Don't give up, the brown is beautiful once you find the correct one!

I've seen several irl that look like this.

The one Saks uses as a stock photo, looks like this. You can tell without zoom because the contract is so great (not a good thing, it should blend in more).

I just ordered this EXACT same style bag from bluefly. Do you think that this is the same bag you received? ARGH Now Im worried!


Did you end up sending the original one back and getting the other walnut gauffre? Given that this thread was like 4 months ago, I dont know if it could be the same bag...but I dont know! What do you guys think!?

Yes, I bought it for $1880 with a 20% bluefly code. It came out to like $1510. Im really worried now! The bag should be here tomorrow. I will post pics so you guys can see. I really hope its not the same bag!
