@MAGJES i know I’m late to this party and you may have decided already, but I am quite drawn (and therefore partially enabled) to the of the first CSGM with the orange hem, and the light blue and black, for all the reasons already cited by others, such as the mod color block effect and the compelling way the colors work together. Also, I couldn’t help but marvel at the way your cashmere sweaters seem as if they were simply awaiting the arrival of either of these scarves to complete them. Beautiful collection.

My Tulipomanie CW16 has arrived and though there have been pictures before, I‘d like to share my take on it…maybe it is helpful for anyone considering this CW. The drawings of the tulips- definitely amazing! The background colour is an off-white, which is nice. But- and here’s my but- I don’t think it’s a very versatile scarf. Yes, I could have known that before- it only has 3 shades, grey, yellow and orange. Tried it with a couple of colours and I wasn’t very convinced- I think I actually liked it best against camel. Sorry for the very easy knots- I didn’t want to mistreat it as it’s probably going back.

Chinglish, it is a beauty! Thank you for your wonderful modshots. I love it on grey and camel the most, just sublime. I‘m waiting for mine.

This is GLORIOUS on you! Not many can wear these colors, but YOU can! It is an elegant scarf that must not leave your neck.

I think it is stunning on gray! I would wear that all day long. Like it on camels, and I like how it softens the look of the brighter orange top. Agree w others, congrats you can wear these colors.
However I do understand your hesitation. My collection is now too large so I try to limit less versatile scarves, and one hit (outfit) wonders. I had the ivory backround L’ombre des pivoines and wore it once in two years. I rehomed it. While gorgeous I just never chose it the times I chose that one Top that looked good with it. For the prices, we all have to justify a more cost per wear, or a LOVE swoon factor that justifies a keeper. I admit I have some gorg scarves languishing in my drawer but I will never give them up because they are just so gorg. ahhhmmmhm.. blue L’ombre des pivoines which I don’t think I have worn outside the house except for one sotd picture For theme

Thank you so much for all your comments- I really appreciate it! Yes, the scarf is certainly beautiful - but @Nomad has perfectly expressed my feelings…“one hit wonder“ says it all. I‘ll probably wear it once or twice, and then it would be stuck in the drawer…my first instinct told me it’s not one I‘d reach out for very often. Though I‘d love to have it for my wall ☺️ . For now, it’s going back waiting to see the other CWs IRL.

P.S. hope I got the quoting thing right - more of a silent follower BTW, I’ve been enjoying all of your beautiful pics & messages
