I really love the raspberry contrast hem, like the color blocking side, but the other side does nothing for me.

Is this good enough for getting it?

Not in my opinion and certainly not at this price.

It is wonderful and looks great on you. The raspberry hem is ingenious in my opinion and accentuates the ivory border. I am tempted but not that fond of the higher price point of the double sided carrés.

I am having similar thoughts about the high cost of DF. I did it last season for a much loved Serpentines, but struggle to do it each season Or for other DF out there at retail prices. It has to be a 10 out of 10 for me with no doubt, for me to hit buy At that price point.

Thank you for weighing in on Hermes Factory @HoneyLocks, @Maedi and @Nomad. I think you each are raising a point of general interest about the double face format-- I agree that it has reached a perilous price point. In each of the last two seasons I have purchased two and in all four cases I have loved each side-- ie each has "convinced" me. I also strongly believe in the merit of the design and the cws of each. If that were not true, I can't see how to justify.

Soooo... on Tuesday my sweat dream Giant triangle in green arrived, sadly I was so sick I coulnd't enjoy it, just unpacked it, wrapped it around my shoulders and found it pretty warm.

The format is perfect for me, I'll buy more of those, the 140 are too big for me and the 90 cm silk scarves make me look old.

Whoever is thinking about getting that scarf, it is not that as green-ish as it might appear at the screen. I played around a little bit today, trying to combine it, and have to say:

it works perfectly with brown-beige-nude tones, with pastel pink but absolutely NOT with black or blue. (which is a little bit sad tbh)

I cropped my face because I looked SOOOO sick when taking that picture, but you can see what I like the most - it literally looks like you are wrapped in angel wings, so that is pretty.

Now I am off, searching for a pair of earrings, I saw such great ones from a lovely TPF member posted on IG and am now contemplating which colors to choose...

I am glad you are feeling better. Congratulations on your GTCS-- I started with Zebra Pegasus last fall and have been adding this format for the reasons you mention. This is lovely on you and the earring you are considering are beautiful!

@Nomad your wish is our command! Objets de Curiosities 01. Bleu Lavande/Gris/Multicolore. After posting my pics of Le Chat Carre, I realise my iPad has been hacked by The Big H to slightly darken colours! So, e.g. the blue is a softer lavender blue, the pinks are softer, etc. The ‘floor’ is creamier. I have fallen for this design in a big way (along with a couple of other designs - naughty!) Although they all look sort of the same on the site, this one is probably the ‘freshest’ due to the white areas and shades of grey on the walls. The balcony window frames & the edges of the corners motifs are creamy/off white - impossible to catch all the nuanced colours, I’m afraid. It is less stark than these pics. Hopefully other pics might appear.

Also delicious is c/w 07 rose/Gris bleuté/multi - the floor is less green than in these 2 pics

Btw: I tried the 07 in the boutique, I liked it so much, lovely, but the bees were really really bright and prominent, so overwhelming on me, that I couldn't take it home. (Only the already shown 05 shared by @Pampelmuse firstly).

@eagle1002us Yes, I was happy with the rest of the design as well, not just the Zebra. The bird (parakeets?) are very cute, and I like the dashes of lavender/light purple here and there on some of the lanterns.

Yes it has slightly green undertones. It is really a beautiful soft color, loved ist, but not for my skin tone.

Torn between these two color ways of le scare des saisons.

My Objets de Curiosite CW05 just arrived. Lots of great colors in this one. It also meets my informal test of coordinating with the top I'm wearing at the time I open the box. There are other colorways that might work as well, but I'm partial to the green leaves on the trees and the colors of the sun and moon corner in this one. It's a keeper. (Note that my camera tends to pull out more blue. The railings along the street are actually more of a medium gray.)

Yes! The colors just seemed a bit harsh on me (northeast US sunlight). These days since I’m only in the office a few days a week I mostly just play with mine in my closet as well!

The details are definitely amazing on this one and I love the colors of the bee border on 05! Can’t wait to see it on you!

Adding to the Chorus Stellarum discussion, the pink is super adorabe and the grey hem combo reminds me of a pink & grey argyle vest I had in the 80’s

Spamming this thread with more love for the robe legere gavroche. I’m having a blast finding new knots for this format. I find I like the gavroche best when tied with a companion (I am waiting for an Amis gavroche to appear in the teal colorway), so I tried it with chorus stellarum just to test out some ties. I am posting mod shots of Hermes Factory cw 03. I don't think we have seen that one modeled yet. I saw it in the Greenwich boutique and loved it but passed on it as I had not had it on my short list at the time. But. I could not get it out of my head as the song goes, so when it popped up on line I grabbed it and I am so happy that I did. It has two "convincing" sides in my opinion but some folks may not care for the color block side of this double face. I thought it was very lovely and resembled dip dye in the saturation of the images in the various sections. In any case it is a surprise but a keeper for me! Love the colors and the raspberry hem is very fresh and fun. The last two are the color block side.

I’ve got one to share too. The pics are awful and I’d literally just chucked it on because I didn’t want to accidentally rip the tag off in case it didn’t work. But I absolutely adore it! The pink is like nothing I’ve seen before. I’ll wear it properly this weekend and post again.

Thank you so much for the helpful photos. I am now thinking that none of them will work for me, except, perhaps, the orange/rose/bleu one, aka CW 03, due to either the pale yellow in the square corners or the beige/camoflage greenish color of the floor in other colorways. I can wear bright yellow mixed with other bright colors, but I cannot wear light yellow, and I cannot wear fall colors like rust, even if they are lovely and typical of the season. Here's hoping that CW 03 works for me, because I really like this design. If anyone cares to photograph it or model it, I would LOVE to see how it looks in real life:

I now see that cw01 which I was interested in, may have too much rust for me, but I am happy to see the lovely pink, which is on its way to me for consideration. I too have fallen hard for this one. Hope we get all the cws soon because yours are beautiful!

I think it can most definitely be like getting two cws of the same design (you have only to look at Clair de Lune!) but that is assuming you wanted two of that design! No you do not have to tie so that the other side is obvious any more than the "wrong" side of a regular 90 if you catch my meaning. I have tied my double faced scarves entirely to show one side but sometimes deliberately to show both.
