I have an older piece with a broken clasp from a jet ski incident. It came with the older lobster clasp instead of the new clasp with the flat vendome stamp. If I were to get the clasp repaired would they swap it with the new version?

Yes. The spring mechanism on my lobster clasp broke, and they replaced it with the new version.
Were you able to get yours replaced or repaired for free? My clasp is loose after about one year of wearing the necklace and was told I would have to pay for the replacement/repair. I hope this doesn't become a yearly fix...
The initial quote that I got for white gold clasp is $200 USD, but I'll be taking my necklace in this weekend to get the final quote.
