Any Brunello Cucinelli lover?

agree with @Allisonfaye re buying brunello on sale, especially coats.

i do sometimes buy pants and bottoms at full retail bc my size/preferred color doesn’t always make it to sale. I have to figure out if I would get retail price back in cost per wear

Current season split skirts (culottes for those of us who are older). Comfortable, wearable. I like to amuse myself by thinking that if Coco chanel were alive today, she would wear stuff like this. Size 38-40. Pants and split skirts are about 1700 USD

i purchased first pair of pants; the brown culottes; and the last pic, linen, but somehow waxed to look leathery
more flattering IRL than these pics

I’ve recently gotten into BC and I’m learning very quickly that this is a very dangerous and slippery slope LOL. I feel all bagged and pursed out and have now set my sights on RTW. Particularly BC, Sacai, and Max Mara. My husband thought he was going to be able to sigh in relief now that I’ve paused on the bags but I guess not hah!

@880 it‘s so nice to see all your pieces and how it works on your body type, since I have a similar build. Please post more as it comes!

Thank you @timayyyyy for your kind words. I hope to see some of your action shots here too!

Brunello is starting presale, but there isn’t much there. I picked up a trunk show order (olive skirt in a cotton techno fabric) and skipped the beige tulle skirt and sequined shorts on sale. @DR2014, if you are interested in the beige tulle, the slip is roughly knee length. Last pic is the olive skirt and a fishnet charcoal sparkly bomber jacket with DH also in brunello pants and sneakers. DHs shirt is Turnbull & Asser, custom program
Paper bag khakis and denim shorts, leather piping

Thank you, @880!! I am still trying to figure out how to style my black Brunello tulle skirt that I purchased it in January, ha ha.

Oh my, BC is my newest favorite! I'd avoided many years due to the prices, but after buying DH a cashmere sweater we were both hooked. Love the business model, too, and want to support it. The brand fits DH better than any other...he looks like he was just molded into the clothes they fit so well. The fabric colors are divine...recently got DH what I first thought was just a "light blue" polo, but the way the fabric reflects in the light and on his skin the color literally changes. Due to our BC fixation we are now buying fewer items due to the cost, but we are being more mindful of our purchases and know they will be beautiful for a lifetime.

Hi all - here is my black tulle skirt, styled as suggested by @880 . I have a better tank top but it’s not here right now. I was thinking of black Castaneda wedges but they are not home either.
I tried 2 different Jean jackets and I like it both ways. Thoughts? Thanks!!

You look amazing! Perfect with both. Also good with a white ribbed muscle tank. Add converse high tops or doc martens and wear it for daytime casual  the first time I wore mine, I ripped it. The first rip was the worst. Took it to my tailor. Since then, I’ve relaxed and just worn it.

here is a brunello tulle and cashmere pleated skirt. Pics don’t do it Justice as it’s only when you walk that the pleats open up in a swirl of tulle. Also want to mention brunello tulle seems to go on sale. (First four pics are with a denim jacket and pic eight is a faux denim short leeved jacket). With early aughts Roberto cavalli Jean jacket and silver gray denim croc print jacket and other more recent denim jackets (chanel constellation and dior tie dye). Plus a dior houndstooth bomber; silk taffeta leopard bar; short sleeved faux denim techno jacket; Hermes techo moto zip jacket; chanel metallic jacket (again twins with @DR2014 as we have similar taste  ; and, a brunello fishnet bomber. Wolford tank. I am also fond of pairing the skirt with denim dolce and gabbana jackets (mine are boutique purchases from the 1990s, but I don’t have pic)

TPM etain; barenia black 30B, brushed phw by @docride ; H metallic silver chèvre chaine d’ancre clutch (vintage); matte alligator chaine d’ancre clutch, originally shiny croc, made matte by @docride Who polished every scale; felt picotin 18; dior around the world embroidery LD size medium

i wear a lot of designer RTW, and have had ankle cartilage replacement surgery, so may eschew designer heels. I wear a lot of birkenstock sandals, slip on and laces sneakers; birkenstock collaboration (most of which I posted in the birkenstock thread here https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/chic-ways-to-wear-birkenstocks.861614/page-105 ). Other sneakers I wear are golden goose.

i also wear a lot of combat boots and Chelsea boots, some designer, but I prefer doc martens. I think the non designer footwear tones down the look and is more youthful. just my personal opinion. i am not actually tall or slim enough to wear high top sneakers. I have one pair of dior high tops that I regret buying (they definitely wear me). And, I don’t find converse high tops all that comfortable with my high arches. But, i think the look is very nice if you can do it. I also used to wear a lot of vans.

Note: mens brunello is a lot cheaper. I tried to sneak a western denim shirt out of DH’s closet on the grounds that it was a bit tight over his watch, but he took it back and now wears it, sleeves rolled up, over a brunello t shirt and cargos. So I included a few of DHs brunello picks (All brunello except custom Turnbull shirt; H tie; and shoes)

You look amazing!! We do have extremely similar taste, but I think different clothing budgets, ha ha. Now that I have started buying more high end things, I see that I can get more if I adjust the way I shop (less frequent shopping, and being more careful to buy what I will really wear). I can't wear converse either, I need more support. I do love combat boots and birkenstocks though!

I got a cute navy silk western shirt from the Brunello outlet at Woodbury Commons, plus a grey sweater with bronze metallic threads (hard to see metallic in the photo for some reason), see below.

Fabulous @DR2014! You wear it beautifully. My two cents :P - I prefer the first, cropped denim jacket as it gives the look a more casual, edgy vibe with the tulle skirt and I think it will pair well with sneakers or combat boots. The longer, denim jacket goes well if you're after a more dressy look.
