I just saw this posted on BoingBoing.net. I think this is the first time I've seen an artist who uses purses as a political statements.

One of my new handbags is the Pursuader that resembles a machinegun with a cel phone compartment in the clip. The other is the Chesterton. Both bags are consructed with a process I developed by interlocking laser cut leather. There is no stitching.

Original post and a gallery of his purses (no full nudity, but probably NSFW)

I think the brass knuckles handbag is the only one that's wearable (although the authorities are apparently not keen on it), but it's a cool concept in light of the the politicizing of women's fashion in our world.

That's definitely an eye-catcher and conversation piece!

I'd probably do a double-take if I saw that on the street... :P

The one that looks like....a dog hanging upside down by its legs on a stick seems kind of cruel though.... :s

I remember seeing these a while ago and totally wanted one of the brass knuckles bags, but I wasn't a big fan of hand-carried bags. The Tinkerbell one is hilarious, too. Wouldn't wear it, but still think it's funny.
