Verifying License for Plastic Surgeons in Korea?

If you look on the website there an option to search to see if the surgeon is board-certified. You can also try this website: https://www.plasticsurgery.or.kr/eng/search/index.php

I don't know if it helps, but I live in Korea and this is the website me and all my Korean friends use. Has never failed me. The website also shows you how to recognize board-certified surgeons and hospitals/clinics. It's a very good resource.

Great, thank you!! So it is the verifying board. I was talking with a clinic rep and found that their head surgeon came up as “certification suspended” no other details and when I asked the clinic rep they said that it doesn’t meant anything because prskorea is just a membership

You're welcome! It's a huge red flag that they explained it away without any further details. You have to be VERY careful in Korea because there are a lot of surgeons out there performing procedures when they aren't board certified. Clinic reps will say ANYTHING to make money for their clinic, even if it is a lie.
