Thank you for the suggestion! I appreciate it! I took your advice and googled it and it may be a Wayuu bag but they all look like the body of the bag is completely woven and hand made while hers looks like it is just canvas :confused1: ?

Highly possible that you're on the right track though. It occurred to me that with all of her travels it wouldn't be surprising if it is one she picked up from a local market vendor while on a vacation somewhere & I'll just never find it :lol:

Just scroll through all the images of Wayuu bags. You’ll see many that have plain bodies and colourful straps and/or tassels. As they’re all hand crafted, you’ll never find 2 that are alike. Good luck in your search!
