That is a beauty and you took really good care of it, what do you use to clean the canvas part, if you don't mind me asking? My 1999 Monogram Randonee GM. Still in immaculate condition!View attachment 4664317
Is it that cheaper than the US even with the tax that you have to pay whenThis is what I always think when people post, asking about whether or not to buy pre loved. Unless it is a very old item or discontinued style, it almost never makes sense to buy it used (even though I do prefer old vachetta). Just go to France (if you can)! In some cases it is even cheaper than buying used, a total no brainer.
My first LV purchase in 2006 was a Monogram Trouville! Love that bag!Happy Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanza to all!
I recently picked up a 35 year old Keepall B 50 that I've been rehabbing. I'll post about it elsewhere later (I need some advice), but it got me to thinking, what is the oldest LV we have in tPF?
My *new* bag is in pretty good shape. The canvas is teriffic. It clearly would have been in much better shape had it not been stored flat. The flat storing created trouble spots in the vachetta (cracks) because it was flat and I suspect not conditioned ever. So, what's your oldest bag? What do we have out there?
tia!
This bag is absolutely stunning. The current color has nothing on it. Gosh, I never knew I liked the Alma so much but I’ve been incepted. Must get one.My oldest piece is my cipango Alma PM from 1997, the color is so similar to the current honey gold
