What would you do? (Battle of the authenticators)

I bought a Celine off of eBay. Seller has been on the platform for 10 years, 100% feedback. Not a super seller and doesn’t have a high number of transactions so appears to just be a way to sell items one isn’t using anymore.

she is adamant that the bag is authentic as she bought it herself from a Celine boutique.
Had it authenticated...****************** and A4U both said counterfeit. Lollipuff said authentic.

I love the bag and would love to keep it. I just don’t know who to believe. Any experience with the strengths of these authenticators for Celine? Who would you believe?

I’m having a very similar issue. When I purchased I received the bags, dust bag, strap cards and also the receipt from when she says she purchased the bag at neimans bal harbour.
I’ve only used real authentication but they said counterfeit. I’ve read mixed reviews on them.
This was my eBay persona first transaction and she just opened an account, so that is a question.
I was thinking of calling the neimans and seeing if they can tell me more from the receipt because it is vague and doesn’t say the color, etc. the serial code in the bag marks it as being produced near the end of 2018, but her neimans receipt says she just purchased it this past October, also a question as to why she is getting rid of it 2 months post purchase.
Sorry for the rant, but I feel your pain!

I think the best option would be to return and buy only at the boutique or official resellers. Celine is such a notoriously 'well' counterfeited brand. :sad:

I wouldn't trust RA or AuthFirst based on the reviews, but A4U and Lollipuff seem all right. Them having such polar opinions on the bag fashion16 bought is worrying, though.

I called neiman marcus to enquire about what was purchased with the receipt I was given and it was 2 nanos: 1 black and 1 dune.
The leather is very soft and supple and the person that sold it is adamant she purchased from there. The name and address on the receipt matches the person who shipped it and where it was shipped from.
She said she never used it.

Hello dear. Regardless of the what's on the receipt - the bag you have in question is most certainly counterfeit.
