Hi everyone. I did a send sale for a Pochette Accessoires a week or two ago from NY 5th Ave store. The leather hang tag on the outside says “Made in France”. The date code reads LA4260 and on the date code checker site it says the bag was “Made in the USA”???? Did I get a fake bag???

Hi, I did get the same date code for my Speedy B. bought few months ago. I read from another thread that LA code is use now for SLGs & Bags that are made in France according to ProAuthenticators. Even the NF that I bought recently has an LM code but stamp is MIF. So even LM code is also use for France now.tempImageMAY6pm.png

These so called "authenticators" are just as official as any other random Facebook group. There is no official date code checker. These date code lists are fan-made. Literally.
I don't believe that we should question the authenticity a 5th Avenue Flagship Store product based on some websites with questionable creadibility.

This is very true, though I have heard of people who had purchased items and then returned super fakes so it did make me wonder....

These are urban legends. Again, who do you trust? Rumours or the official representatives? Returned items are checked, very thoroughly. And Vuitton knows what the product was like and should be like. There are many many minute variations they do during production, which we don't even notice, but they have a very precise catalogue of. This is why they have a date code. Based on that, they know that on that exact week in that exact Atelier, how Pochette Accessoires were made. They know what boxes it must check. Even the canvas itself has variations: colour temperature, the amount of ink they use while printing it, and the pattern itself. If you check the Monogram canvas close-ups on the official website, you can find some little variances too. Those are for making sure, that only they know what the real deal is. Even if an ex-employee start an authentication business (or a counterfeit business), she won't have the fresh database on the products.
So don't be afraid, if someone brings back a so-called superfake, it won't be sold to another client, and the one bringing it in would be banned and sued.

Hi, im nisa from Malaysia. I just received my speedy b25 few days ago. I bought it via malaysian personal shopper at UK n shipping it to Malaysia. I have same concerns as yours, which the date code is LA4260 luckily i have read your post and give me a bit relief. This is my 1st time buy LV bag.

My concerns also is about the stitches. As i compare my bag and others bag at mostly at youtube when they r doing the unboxing, the double stitches is different with mine. Also the heat stamp not really crisp as theirs. Should i worry about this? Appreciate your opinion.

Has any seen PM Neverfull in Damier Azur with ballerina pink interior. I saw one on a resale site, but it looked really good, but I’ve never seen one. The seller told me they sell out fast. Is it a fake?1B45B1DC-EC2F-45D0-8685-FDACEF9B24F5.jpeg
