Broken necklace - where would you fix

So my dog while jumping off my lap accidentally snapped my farandole long necklace. It’s just one broken link so should be an easy fix.

Would you fix at H spa (is it worth the wait and extra cost?) or should I just ask my local jeweller to fix for me? Any advice appreciated.

I am certainly no expert, but I would take it to your local jeweler to fix. It may be something that you could drop off and wait for the fix.

I'd wait and let Hermes do it personally, it might not cost much more than your local jeweller in the long run and at least you know the Hermes integrity is there in your piece, especially as it's gold. You're right it is an easy fix that a jeweller can do, it depends on your patience level and how much your piece only being touched by Hermes means to you.

+1, on hugs to your puppy and I am sorry this happened. But, either way, it should be an easy fix.

Would it void the warranty to have it fixed locally? I know with some brands they say you need to get it fixed/serviced by their brand only or it voids the warranty

Have Hermès fix it. Value will drop greatly if an outside vendor does the repairs.
