How do you like the HW to be on your OS bags? I always polish mine, I think it makes the HW pop. But a lot of people like the aged brass...which do you like?

I've never polished any of my brass HW...I prefer it the way it is...unless of course it was really bad. Do you have any before and after pics you can share??

Lol no! It's one of the first things I do after I get a new bag! Next time I will though! Oh I will when I get my black Nikki, which WON'T be today . Hopefully tomorrow!

I only have one Nikki with brass HW, and indeed the first thing I did was to polish the hardware. I don’t like aged brass at all, unfortunately.

generally I don't like gold HW as much as silver or gunmetal. so I'd probably prefer my brass to be less shiny - therefore less like gold

Love my brass hardware! Don't like the green crud that shows up on it sometimes.
