Which of these would you consider designer?

I dunno which I would consider designer label, but these ones I would NOT consider designer:
Allsaints
Rebecca Minkoff
Tommy Hilfiger
Diesel
Polo Ralph Lauren

Technically, 'designer' is more high end than contemporary brand....so regarding your list above I would say Versace and Alberta Ferretti are true designer...the rest are either contemporary brands or diffusion lines.
If you go on the webiste, there's 'Versace', ' Atelier Versace' and 'Versace Jeans Collection' so there is no Versace Collection-lol, but usually when the word 'collection' is there, it's the premier brand (like Michael Kors Collection). So in that case I suppose Alberta Ferretti is the only designer on that list.

Are they? I'm not super familiar with the brand. I consider designer brands like Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Givenchy, etc.
I don't consider mid-range designer to be designer.
Well then why are there mid range designers on this site classed as designer?
There is MK, Kate Spade etc all mid range but classes as designer on this site.
Vlad clearly has it pairing 'premier designer' and 'contemporary designer' in their categories.

Although you don't see her showing as a premier designer on Vlad's list...I would say Alberta Ferretti is PREMIER....her t-shirts alone go for $275
