Have you heard about the reissue of 'Menotte' from Cartier in 2021

I think it is inspired by prisoner's handcuff (as per its name 'Menotte') lol.

it’s an older cartier design that was discontinued at some point. google searching it yields some extremely vague information but from my understanding it was the original “love bracelet” idea (aka you’re “cuffing” the person you love), inspired from handcuffs.

Don't know the original cost of a Menotte, but I've seen an old add for a Love bracelet in the 1970s and it started out at $250. So I imagine the Menotte was priced similarly.

I would love to see them bring the Menotte back. I've never tried one on, but if I like it as much as my Loves, then I'll definitely get one!

Sorry kids, not sold here. I think this is way too clunky and utilitarian and dispenses with all of the charm of the Love. I was having a hard time getting into Clash - seemed too hip - but this Menotte thing is medieval!

I love the Menotte line and this bracelet is my favorite! If it is ever released again I will be first in line. You have a gorgeous bracelet!
