My first surgery i had in 2 years back which I did incisional eyelid surgery +epicanthoplasty. Regret it.

My case is abit different, due to doing rhinoplasty few times and left my nose contracted.. Flat to the point where there is no cartilage.
So.. I did eyelid revision +ptosis surgery at this korea clinic. That time I wanted to lower down my eyelid.
I decided to do eyelid revision first with this Korea clinic.. rather than closing eye corner first. Because eyes may be very round.

I didn't request doing ptosis. At that time I seriously thought I do not have such serious ptosis, although I have 1 sleepy eye. But it is part of the balance of my face.
I also told dr I will close my eye corner with another dr and do rib rhinoplasty in future.
Now its 8 months post-op, my eyes r more hollow, even less skin and fats, although it is bigger but looks even rounder.
Dark circles growing, makes me look more tired.. I am not sure is it the way he designed my eyelid shape.

I do not understand is it in korea all eyelid revision involves ptosis, since its going to remove more fats and skin..

And I also do not see that my eyelid has lowered down.

I am not sure in the future when I get older will my eyes become even more hollow or its going to be ok?
I do not want to get involved in eyelid fat graft, it is a pricey recurring procedure.

Anybody have this problem can share?

You could do fat grafting to lids and undereyes for the hollow look. If your bridge is too high then your eyes will look more hollow so make sure the surgeon only raises it a few mm. I did my revision at VIP clinic in Seoul and Dr. Lee went overboard with my bridge and as a result my whole midface is out of balance and my eyes are sunken. You can also take pics and send to clinics via kakao or LINE for their opinion on what can be done to remedy this.

@Mazikeen Thanks for advice. I'll do that. I do have kakao.
For the rib revision I'll be doing DCF rib for bridge, ear cartilage for tip.
Starting from the level a little above the eyes, hopefully will not look that sunken.
Doing it in Sg instead.

I know of VIP as a very famous clinic in Korea that specialises in rib rhinoplasty. I hope you have your issue settled now  that feeling when surgery goes wrong is bad..

VIP isn't good. Overpriced with subpar results. If you get fat grafting esp. to eyelids please make sure the doctor has tons of experience coz if he overdoes it your lids will look worse. Check out Ms.Orange's thread, she had FG to the eyelids and Dr. Seo did an amazing job.
For the bridge I would say mid-pupillary line would look more natural otherwise your radix will be too high and it will look ridiculous. I have this problem atm. My radix is above my eyes and it looks terrible.

Oh  are you considering removing it or adjust it? I think i can visualize that, before I had an implant all the way to the top. That time my eyes were still at good position..

Oh ya I went to mvp for my eyelid revision... Dr Seo recommended ptosis+eyelid revision. I didnt do fat graft.
That's why now I'm confused.. Now more fats and skin are removed and more deep. I did personally say I want to lower it down, natural look. And I kept questioning why I need ptosis as I didn't have any serious ptosis.

There is a different look compared with when the nose is raised.
Before although my eyelid cut is high but cannot call really deep, still youthful look..

Now after my surgery with dr Seo Im getting confused why is it so deep. I think ptosis surgery is his trademark surgery.
i will close my eye corner first then slowly see which dr to do revision..+fat graft as you suggest.

I think he recommended ptosis coz there were some patients who complained of droopy eyelids after DES w/out ptosis correction. Fat graft really improves that sunken look. I would never have thought it could make such a difference until I saw Ms.Orange's pics. Have you contacted him regarding the tightness and pressure? You could get in touch with Dr. Soo Jang @ive plastic surgery and send him pics for consultation. I hear his speciality is revision for botched eye surgeries. He also does fat grafting to the eye area.
I'm currently looking for a surgeon to remove the rib cartilage completely. I just want my old nose back. I wish I had never touched my nose.

@ive? I checked online, seems like it has officially changed to Dream clinic. That place has many negative reviews..

YEs I did communicate via wechat but that assistant told me to try wait for few months because it is a revision and varies case by case.

Dr Seo is still good for many, his suture skills is good. I think he should have told me to close eye corner first when I did emphasise I want to close eye corner, he designed an eye shape based on his liking and make it rounder, turning it closer to the nose.
And the ptosis surgery makes my eyes look even more unbalanced.
I see.. So ptosis is to prevent drooping hmm..
Yes.. I did see Miss Orange pics, it does look good. I think I try to consult this dr Kang from IOU, he is good with lowering eyelid.. Not sure.
That dr Soo Jang I will check too.

So how long can the fat graft survive?

IF completely remove rib cartilage, be sure that the nose is not badly scarred like mine, it will contract to the point that it goes shorter, curved, gives the flat out look, and may cause some skin issues..
Overall I may need something to support back my skin.

It depends on the severity.. It may be no problem for you.

This is the IVE clinic:
Kang has mixed reviews so I dunno how good he is.
You could also consult with Dr. Shin @ Shinseung. He is also good with eyes.
I was also told that some cartilage will be left inside for structure and support but the rest can be removed and I'll be happy with that.

Ok sure I will check. Thanks for the info.
Glad to hear there's a remedy

So I consulted with Shinseung they say can't close the eye corner for me. But this Eve Clinic dr Chung can close my eye corner. Fortunately..
I am so sad now, before I still have that asian look now totally destroyed  now I have less space between my eyebrows.
What's the point.. I travel all the way to Korea.

Sorry about Shinseung but I like that he was sincere and didn't try to give you hopes. I had forgotten Dr. Chung, he is also very good with eyes and has very fair prices. Very nice doctor, soft spoken and takes his time during consultation. You'll need a translator coz he has no English speaking staff, just one Chinese girl who does translations for the Chinese patients. His clinic is next to MVP clinic.

Have you consulted with Dr. Kwon @Teium? He is famous for his magic EPI and some people have had good results from him with revision EPI so he might be able to help you. However he has mixed reviews so maybe contact some of his former patients here on PF to see if they're still pleased with their results.
