Hi everyone! Been browsing around for the longest time and enjoyed reading different opinions on various plastic surgery treatments mostly in Korea, thought of setting up a specific thread for plastic surgery related treatments in Singapore. It would be great for all to share their research or input, or those who actually did any enhancement to share their experiences here. (Of course, it would also help if possible to share the cost involved too =D)

I think for a time like this with the pandemic situation going around, I would think I'm not the only one considering getting any enhancements done in Singapore itself (for Singaporeans or others who are currently living here). To kickstart, I was hoping if anyone had done epi &/or lateral canthoplasty surgery here in Singapore to perhaps share their experiences (cons) and maybe which surgeon they have went to? I have heard of 1 or 2 particular doctors/clinics which in all honesty, I'm not very keen due to the large numbers of negative feedbacks/complaints/botched results. Though epi/lateral canthoplasty seemingly look like the "least" complex surgery, yet it's very challenging to look up for more options online in Singapore. =/

Feel free to share other info too! Hopefully this thread can collate some other useful read up for everyone else too. Like e.g. nose enhancements, lipo, etc.

Hi, if you want to do
1)incisional epicanthoplasty /lateral canthoplasty together with eyelid surgery, go korea.
2) non-incisional eyelid surgery, can do in sg.
3)normal rhinoplasty, just do in sg

do you actually know of good surgeons or clinic for rhinoplasty in sg? just wondering and hoping to collate some useful clinics here

Sgh there they have a plastic reconstruction department, not sure how much.
But if want involve epicanthoplasty all these go Korea better as they r more experienced.

hmm, that will not be any time in the near future then. =/ and it seem to me korea is best to go if you actually have a korean friend or friend of friend who would be able to accompany you. i would think they are very experienced too, but not for the idea if the surgery wasn't done by actual surgeon. for me im just very uncomfortable with the potential of having shadow doctors doing my face. otherwise, results really look very natural

What kind of rhinoplasty you are looking for? If it's implant then many of the private clinics or hospitals have skilled drs to do it. Like Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth etc. You can do Google search to check which dr is board certified etc.

But if you want to find really skilled drs for specific reasons. You can try Sgh Dr Chew Khong Yik head of plastic reconstruction department.he is expert in rhinoplasty.

Take not all the private practice clinics although they cater to your needs but they are all for money.

You check online you can find many complaints even with those popular rhinoplasty Drs in sg.

I do recommend Sgh plastic surgery department even for normal plastic procedures. But feel free to check on other private clinics if you want hassle free dealing process and faster response.

You can try Dr Colin Tham(normal procedure)

You can try get a translator in Korea. Or it's not even required if the dr or assistant there can speak English. Try email/kakao to your preferred choice of Drs you will get a response.

I went to consult Dr Seah Chee Seng (Gleneagles Hospital) regarding my outer edge sagging eyelids. He is honest to let me know that there will only be a very subtle difference if I go for a blepharoplasty surgery to lift up the edges. He is not pushy at all and he did not recommend any other unnecessary surgeries. He is a certified board plastic surgeon. I paid about $150 for a consultation.

Hi! Im currently looking for a clinic to do Rhinoplasty.. Wanted to go back to Dr Seah Chee Seng where he helped me to do my eyelids, unfortunately he doesnt specialize in Rhinoplasty :/ Do you know if Dr Chew Khong Yik has lower rates than Dr Colin Tham? thank you!

Hi there fellow Singaporeans! I’m also looking at local clinics to get some procedures done. The last time I did anything to my face was more than 4 years ago, and now I look a bit ‘cui’ already. Was planning to go KR this year but nah, don’t want to be stuck in 14-day quarantine. Have ya’ll heard of Sweng Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstruction Surgery, Shens Clinic and Dream Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery (affiliated to Dreams PS)? These clinics consistently show up as top searches, and I’m wondering if they are any good. Please share your experiences if you’ve been there before. Thanks!

S**** clinic is the one I have seen a lot of negative feedback and reviews. There's also allegedly a lot of fake made up reviews. I did remember coming across not-up-to-expectation results during my research (botched or not honestly is very dependant on the one who choose to do the surgery if they deemed as it is). I do think definitely need to spend more time to research before deciding for sure. My tip to double check some reviews or dig up more info other than googling, is to also look into facebook and instagram. Because sometimes google might not pull out some information.

I'm a big fan of Dr Martin Huang but some others on here have poo-poo'ed him. He's done my friend's eyes which I think are gorgeous! I've had my second set of sutures done for my eyelids by him recently, and am very pleased with them. I also had breast implants done by him which were absolutely beautiful but had them removed for health reasons.

I definitely would NOT recommened Woffles Wu, who I think is a quack and is a socialising wh*re (more interested in socialising and appearing in magazines than he is in plastic surgery). He also ruptured my first set of implants WITHOUT my consent or even telling me before he did it (long story!).

They're both amongst the most expensive, if not THE most expensive in Singapore.

thanks for sharing.Could you share more on other reputable PS in Singapore?
I actually consulted WW for DES and I thought he was pretty ok, no hard sell, informative and seemed to know what he was doing.

I understand that you had a sour experience with him, but would you consider in all objectivity if he is competent?
