A resource for a newbie - Which LC bag do you like / use most and why?

A full price Rouseau tote from the Sakura line a few years ago. Pricey! So pretty but I’ve hardly worn it due to the embroidered print that’s a little hard to wear, the saffiano leather (Longchamp doesn’t call it that) that I don’t really like, and the very large tote size of it, so it’s a bag regret. BUT I do love the print and who can’t use a good big tote so I keep it around and wear it a few times each summer. I’m more of a bag bonder than a bag seller. The moral of the story though is that I needed to visit it more in the store, try it, think about it, and I might have realized a few things. I was swept up in its prettiness.

I bet we have the same bag - and regret!

I bought mine while taking a 2-week language in another city, where I needed to schlep work laptop + language books to class in the AM, then sightsee on foot all over in late afternoon. It was also HOT and sunny, which made me susceptible to a cool white and blue bag. I've barely used it since, and it bounces on and off my "to sell" list, but it's so PRETTY!

like most, i started with the le pliage, then graduated to the cuirs when they came out. the crossbodies are my favorite (https://longchamp.co.id/collections/le-pliage-leather/products/le-pliage-cuir-crossbody-bag-757). i thought i wont go back to the nylon ones after being spoiled by the leather of the cuirs but since last year, i fell for the colors of the club line and got a few pieces. i also got a couple of LP clutch with the shoulder strap (https://longchamp.co.id/collections/le-pliage-neo/products/le-pliage-neo-clutch-598). during this lockdown period, i find myself using my nylon bags more since they are more carefree.

this year, i got into the roseaus, i have a mini crossbody and the shoulder bag/tote.

Definitely post pics of your bags for us to see! That’s part of the fun here. I agree that the club colors are amazing! I’m hoping to venture into the cuirs soon. Between the crossbody cuir n the clutch, which do use more? Do they serve more or less the same functions?

i travel a lot for work (used to anyway). i bring and wear the crossbody cuir a lot. its great and secure for travel. as for the clutch, it started with the LGP version. i found myself reaching for it so much during errand days this lockdown period, that i got the neo versions too. maybe im just liking the way the clutch looks more lately.

i think they serve more or less the same purpose, just depends whether you want a crossbody or shoulder bag

ill try to take photos, need to organise a bit
