Delay to remove the plates

Hello I was supposed to remove my screw during April or may but... corona.....
it will now one year post surgery..
I have heard the delay is 2 years before you cannot remove it anymore but I’m affraid I won’t be able to go to Korea during next months..
did some of you tried to remove it later than a year or two ???

my own countrysurgeons are not able to do it apparently

I was told you can remove the screws/pins/plates after 1 year and before 2 years mark. I had plans to remove it this year but COVID-19 is making it impossible. Praying hard I can remove it by spring 2021..

But my surgeon told me they can still remove it after two years or even t
But i guess it’s harder
but we have no choice lol

Hi, may I ask why do you want to remove it? I reached 6 months a few weeks ago but I'm not sure if I want to/need to remove it. Is there any harm in keeping it?

Because I plan to get a vline revision first and also because it can get infected or move with years !!
