Buy brand new or pre loved?

Hi everyone

I‘ve decided to get the classic caviar zip wallet with gold hardware and have a bit of a dilemma... I found the wallet online for EUR 430 pre-loved (https://uniquedesignerbags.com/designer-bags/chanel-small-caviar-zip-wallet/) and found the same piece in the boutique yesterday for CHF530. I did a rough computation and found that the difference between buying pre-loved and brand new is about CHF40 (including tax etc). Would you still buy pre-loved or just get it brand new?

Since wallets are more personal and I will be using it everyday, I prefer to buy brand new. Bags can be preloved, doesn’t bother me.

Absolutely true ! From what i have seen - pre loved market and resellers mark up a lot for slgs because they have to make their fees . So buying a slg from a reseller or pre loved is not worth!

U will get a variety of options plus a good experience shopping in store.
