Our male tabby like to roll over in submission and show us his belly. now the female (from same household, different mother) is doing it. I think they may have had the same father. I don't recall any of our other cats doing this. I understand it's a sign of submission, not a sign (like dogs) they want their bellies rubbed.

My guys do for rubs, Cheeto used to sleep that way but not any more now that he’s older I miss him sleeping in my lap spread eagle it was hilarious.

My cat does this too. And she will often let me gently pet her belly for a few minutes, she seems to like it, she curls up her front paws by her face and closes her eyes. Its really cute.
love his spoted tummy....he's sleeping here but anyway...
