Rubbing cornstarch on them and letting it sit overnight might help, I've also used dawn. I've only had one bag with that problem I think I used dawn first then after it dried used cornstarch.
I can vouch for the soap/Dawn trick. I used it on my BBW and it worked.
Had no idea re: the corn starch... cool.
But I'm such a germaphobe I'd want the handles really properly cleaned first..
But doesn't the corn starch make the handles not shiny? Then again, the original coating of the shine is probably already gone.
Nonetheless though, the rest of the bag looks great Carrie!

Does the Dawn affect strip the color at all or dry out the leather? Just curious! My Royal BBW has darkened slightly sticky handles.
I have ought to try this! My BBW MAM and my SWB MAB both arrived with sticky handles. I no longer have my BWB MAM but I shall get some Dawn and try it on my SWB MAB. Especially since I'm cleaning the bag inside out during this pandemic/lock down lol
I just got the "so natural cleanser" and magic sponges from Lovin My Bags, because a bag I have coming Monday looks like the handles need cleaning. I'll let you know how it works. They are bw handles.
