Chanel slingbacks

Hi! My two cents... you should get the larger size. I had the same issue. I purchased my regular Chanel shoe size, and the straps were a bit loose. I tried one size down and toe box was a bit tight. I went with my regular size and the straps, while loose, are fine. If it really bothers you and the strap is too loose, get a cobbler to shorten the straps a tiny bit. But wear them a bit first... I love mine and I can just slip them out easily exactly because the strap is loose. Plus, I would not want a stretched out toe box, and now the shoe looks distorted with a "wide fat" toe. The toe is the most important look of a shoe to me. This slingback is very slimming on the feet because of how the toebox.

My friend, who decided to get the smaller size regrets it. Her SA told her it would stretc which it didn't much. It squishes her toes and did not stretch, so she barely wears them now.

My slingbacks are super comfy that I can wear them all day long walking in the city. The chunky heel is great for the sidewalk cracks too!

That's just my two cents. Hope that helps.
Oof! Thank you! I may not be able to return them at this point as I had used them around the house trying to see if they stretched and there are water stains on the bottom from when I walked around the kitchen. (Stupid i know). Anyway, I hope I can figure something out and if not, it will be a very lovely gift to my sister :P

Just wanted to share that the same thing happened to me when trying them on at home, my carpet was a bit wet and I got water stains on the bottom, but I went and tried exchanging them anyhow and the SA didn't even bat an eye and took them, no problem. I hope this saves someone else the panic/stress in the future!
Also, my experience with sizing: I wear US 8.5 and 38.5/39 EU and I went with a 38.5C for the slingbacks. The strap felt a smidge loose when I tried it on with the stocking but held much better without one. Toebox is snug but not any more than any other new heels.

How is the sizing, do you need to go down a size because of the strap in back, meaning it will stay on better? I am looking to buy one. Thanks!!
I took a 7.5 in these, which is the size I normally wear only in heels. This is a good shoe to try on first, if you can. The back strap stays on fine; I was concerned about that too. I love them so much that I have an eye out for my 2nd pair!

i normally wear 38.5 in chanel flats but 38.5 in heeled slingbacks was very loose and flip flopped when i walked. i bought the 38 and it is tight on the toebox and it was not comfortable the only time i wore it. haven’t worn it this year due to covid and all the lock downs it still brings.

i also bought the iridescent rainbow flat sling backs summer 2020 and thought they were a bit flimsy on the feet. i didn’t feel secure in them so excenged them with the classic flat version of the some color.

I’ve just purchased a pair of slingbacks in goatskin and grosgrain in Florence and I’m SO worried about the sizing. I got the 37.5 C but the toe box is very snug and I’m worried they wont stretch. The 38 seemed too long though and the elastic was loose - I’m not sure what to do!

I found the toe box in the grosgrain to be very uncomfortable as well. Last week I purchased from the Chanel boutique the goatskin with calfskin toe slingbacks in my normal Chanel shoe size and they are much more comfortable! They are 20C.
