Would you buy this Black City Chevre?

Hello everyone, I am so tempted to get this Black City from 2004, but it's not in the best shape. The leather looks so different from the later Bals. Do you think this can be greatly improved with conditioning, shoe cream and other DIY methods? Thanks!

I don’t know what they’re asking but you can do much better than this.

No, I haven't got to that stage yet..

It looks pretty tired to me, it's worn right down past the dye. You could probably touch it up as it's black but I have my doubts as to how good it would look. I'd get it authenticated first though.

I hate to turn someone off from buying something but it just looks too worn for my personal liking.
