Faye backpack: how to clean suede

I got some BBQ sauce on my new Faye backpack, I’ve never had a suede bag and have no idea what to do. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I have a lot of suede shoes and the best products to clean them are a nubuk brush and the collonil nubuk box sponge. Especially the nubuk box is magic!

A SA gave me this tip. They use it for shoes and bags in store and my light beige suede sneakers turned out to look nearly brandnew after the first treatment.

The brush is not that gentle so maybe I would try the sponge at first.

Thank you for your reply! I had bought a kit with a suede brush and eraser, but I’ve been nervous to clean it myself. The box sponge looks promising
