Help! 19s mini rect strap problem

Just got my new mini in lamb skin. Could anyone please tell me whether it is normal to see the strap not glued well enough so you can see the skin coming out a bit? Is it a quality issue or just I am too picky? 383AAC53-F6DF-4AA1-9617-D01126B7B3B6.jpeg

It’s funny you say, that as I purchased a Pink lamb mini today and the edges of the leather on the strap is fraying in places, I was wondering if I should return it but Pink was so hard to come by and I was also wondering what to do :confused1: hope someone can offer some advice please.
