Chanel Pearl Mini Flap

Hello All! I need opinions on this bag. I am to the point in my collection where I am looking for wearable, but special pieces. Thoughts? Thank you for the input! I will not have time to see it in person but can order and return if it doesn't work for me.

I feel like that sort of the thing, a bag covered in pearls or rhinestones or what not, should be relegated to evening bags. They just look silly otherwise, especially on larger bags.

yes, I was thinking it may be interesting to wear during the day and more casual - but I think I need to see it and try it on first.

I think it would be perfect for day to day. Just dress it down

I’m not a fan. I could imagine one of the pearl fell off and Chanel will charge you insane price to replace/fix it.

It’s personally not my style but if it’s yours, I say go for it. I don’t like it for myself but would smile if I saw it’s uniqueness in someone else. Some of the pearls will more than likely come off, though. Either you can get Chanel to fix bag or keep some e6000 on hand if you’re into self fixing.

definitely not real pearls. Chanel told me I can bring it back in if anything comes off - but what a hassle! It is insured for 2 years with Chanel and then after that you pay for repairs. I am leaning towards no for now and buying a different bag instead

I vote no and what others have stated, I would be concerned with those pearls coming off. It would be a bit of a hassle to have it repaired. I would explore sequins over pearls instead.

Thank you everyone for your input! I decided to wait and keep the search up for a perfect pearl or sequin Chanel. Sometimes the search is more fun
