my older sister, who lives in hawaii, recently got her first LV. the recital. she said that when she bought it, the SA gave her a "damage discount" of 50% off and told her that she couldn't have a receipt, because it cannot be returned. from what i've experienced, LV doesn't sell anything damaged, so they shouldn't have an option to give anyone such a discount... i'm just wondering about this. i wasn't there when she bought it, but it sounds off, to me. what do you guys think?

That is so odd. I've never heard anything like it! I think I heard somewhere that employees can get damaged goods for 50% but I'm not sure about customers. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I don't know. I never heard of that but it would be a good thing if it only had a minor flaw. I was under the impression they destroyed imperfect stuff,but like I said I haven't a clue.
