How are the denim cabas holding up?

Hello all,

I just purchased this red caviar M/L flap from Fashionphile and haven't had much luck in identifying the season from which it came. The website listing describes it as Dark Red from 2011, and the serial code (pic attached) starts out as 14689... From my research (aka Google), the 14 series corresponds to 2010-2011.chanel-caviar-quilted-medium-double-flap-dark-red-24.jpg chanel-caviar-quilted-medium-double-flap-dark-red-00.jpg

Any assistance from the many Chanel experts out there is very much appreciated :smile:

Omg I’m so glad I found this thread! I’ve been trying to determine the style of this bag forever, but I know next to nothing about Chanel: ) I’ve been reading through threads and trying to educate myself, but the wealth of knowledge you ladies have is A LOT to take in. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Girl I don’t know what it is but I do know that I nnneeeeeedddd it! Hope someone is able to tell us in the next 28 hours before the clock starts on my stupid resolution to only buy more practical bags!

they have the name correct - chevron stitch shoulder bag. it's vintage, from maybe 1988-1990
