Scarves Hermès Spring/Summer '19 Scarves

Thanks FugitiveRouge. I remember this chat from a while back but was hoping it had maybe been confirmed. I missed out on Sieste first time round as I hadn't started buying scarves then and I have been patiently biding my time for a reissue!
... I feel like a reissue of "Sieste" (nap) next year makes sense, given the "dreaming" theme. But who knows? Maybe it will be Fall. Maybe the next Spring.

Thanks for posting these. I wonder if they are also part of the washables collection as there is absolutely no design transference through to the back of the scarf? I love the design but I don't like the plain back. Just my own preference as I think it messes up the look when tied. As an afterthought, perhaps it is because they are prototypes. I hope so because the design is stunning.

Absolutely Pautinka, an unsaturated back is not good either for tying or for admiring.
The Samurai 90cm was a very complex and intricate design and also had pale reverse which put me off.
My reckoning is that H have new digital tech which works in a different way and makes it a cinch to print off intricate designs and also to print more according to demand.
However lovely a design , if it’s not carried to reverse I’ll wait for a CSGM:-s

I had thought they had "fixed" this as the Act III seems to have a back which is not pale, I don't own one but from pictures I have seen online. I hope because it is a prototype and not a sign of how printing will be done in the future.:wondering:

Oh dear, I've had my coffee now and a second look at Croisette's CSGM list. Zouaves et Dragons will likely be infantry regiment uniforms (not dragons!); now eager to see if it will be something ornately presented like Selle de Dignitaire!
Les zouaves sont des fantassins (infanterie) ; ils se déplacent et combattent à pied.
I was curious so I did a Google search and came up with this:
Les Spahis sont des cavaliers indigènes (algériens ou marocains - il y a aussi des spahis tunisiens) ; ils se déplacent et combattent à cheval mais sont plus spécialisés dans la reconnaissance. Les dragons sont des cavaliers métropolitains ; ils se déplacent à cheval et généralement combattent à pied.
OR
The Zouaves are foot soldiers (infantry); they move and fight on foot. Spahis are native riders (Algerian or Moroccan - there are also Tunisian spahis); they move and fight on horseback but are more specialized in reconnaissance. The Dragons are metropolitan horsemen; they move on horseback and usually fight on foot.

the CSGMs are as follows:
Zouaves et Dragons
Faubourg Rainbow
Les Cabanes
Paisley from Paisley
L'Art du Bojagi
Jungle Love Tattoo
Do you think Les Cabanes could look something like this?

That’s what I was thinking too, on it being one of the wash silks (actually, hoping )! However, looking at the reference number it seems to be a regular 90 (wash scarves at least this season start with 07, the 90s with 00).
