Scarves Scarf Of The Day 2018 - Which Hermès scarf are you wearing today?

Honestly, I’d have to say that I primarily wear it for SOTD themes. [emoji17] I love it when I do wear it, but there are so many colorful beauties vying for my attention, that it often gets left behind.
It’s one that I consider selling - keep that on the down low tho... otherwise the crying from the scarf drawer will keep me awake. [emoji6]
Hahah. So thats why it is sometimes difficult for me to sleep, not our two big dogs lying on me.
Seriously one majestetic scarf should be in every collection.

My two CWs of Cavaliers d’Or. The first pic of each set is the plain scarf. The others are taken with my collection of Scythian Met Museum jewelry on top and used as scarf rings (actually, slipped through the knots).View attachment 4127881 View attachment 4127825 View attachment 4127823 View attachment 4127822 View attachment 4127821 View attachment 4127820 View attachment 4127819 View attachment 4127818 View attachment 4127817 View attachment 4127811
Both stunning, Your colors!

New Springs. My very first Hermes scarf, purchased in F/W 2009.

I recall going to the boutique on Bloor Street and spending some time with an SA (no longer there) to choose this scarf at the old scarf counter. When I paid for it, he said "perhaps I will help you with your next scarf too."

I laughed and said "No way. This is the ONLY Hermes scarf I will ever buy."

And now, approximately 30 scarves later, New Springs continues to bring me good karma. This is the scarf I wear when I need the odds in my favour.

We are twins on that blue/purple/turquoise version of New Springs, Toronto Carre! Thanks for the memory jog -- I need to wear mine more often!

I missed a day -- did we show Dimitri's pair of 70 cm scarves featuring the horse atop the H Mothership on Rue Faubourg? Released in 2010/11 and 2014.
The first is Quand Soudain ("When suddenly"), which begins in the upper left corner with "Au meme moment, a Paris, toute etait calme" ("At the same moment, in Paris, all is calm"). In the center, the horse suddenly comes to life and gallops off the roof with the note a suivre ("to be continued") at the bottom right.
The second is the continuation: Minuit au Faubourg ("Midnight on Faubourg") when the horse clearly has a new job as "Super H."
Quand Soudain & Minuit au Fbg composite tpf.jpg
This pair was followed in 2017 by Space Shopping (gavroche and 90cm, but alas, no 70) as our fanciful "Super H" oversees a galactic Hermes shopping spree.

(That's my interpretation, anyway!)

Love that New Springs!

Thank you, bunnycat! This cw hadn't made it out this year yet. I probably shouldn't have worn it with the pink blouse and the fresh sunburn, but it's a very peaceful cw.

New Springs. My very first Hermes scarf, purchased in F/W 2009.

We're twins on this, Toronto Carre, and I think it's really the prettiest cw. (Though lanit's black/white cw is sooo gorgeous...) I'm still always surprised by the turquoise against the violet. And that is a great story!

Lovely scarves. Thank you for posting.

Thank you!

Love the rose in the stirrup!

Thank you, AnnaE! This scarf always feels very dated to the 80s, though it's from the early 70s, with a few very basic images in stark colors. I formed my aesthetic tastes in the 80s though, so I love it.

That was me... thank you so much!!! :flowers:
I hadn't realized that Tuiga was a sailing vessel... wow, how gorgeous is that?

She's amazing. She's currently at the Yacht Club de Monaco: https://www.yacht-club-monaco.mc/en/tuiga-en/
Here's the announcement of the scarf: http://superyachtnews.blogspot.com/2006/09/herms-scenery-at-yacht-club-de-monaco.html
And she's also included in En Course, Vent Portant, and Rafaeles, according to a web site I snipped when I bought the scarf, and am no longer able to find via Google. Argh.
