Teeny tiny famous buildings of the world on my www.hermes.com pochette. I can spot mini pyramids, little Big Ben, cutesey windmill and bijou Eiffel Tower.
This list is awesome! I looked up Cheval de Mer and I loved the detail -- wishing H would issue/re-issue Renonciat designs. What have you all done to me??? Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and rather than counting sheep to get back to sleep, I began thinking of H scarves with architectural motifs. Here are some I don't own, but I bet some of you must have them in your collections---many are wonderful vintage pieces! Can you think of others, too?
Mont St. Michel
Regarde Paris
Les Édifices de Paris 1806
Lumières de Paris
La Maison Dorée
Charmes des Plages (pier + lighthouse + buildings)
Le Pont Neuf à Paris
La Cité de Paris
Au Pays de Cocagne
Cheval de Mer (another Renonciat mechanical drawing)
Rialto (Croisette's shown this lovely before!)
The De Passage scarves
I love Cheval de Mer, especially in the blue and white cw! His designs aren't that old, but wouldn't that one look great in a mousseline??? Ooooo! This list is awesome! I looked up Cheval de Mer and I loved the detail -- wishing H would issue/re-issue Renonciat designs.
Croisette---thank you! I knew you would have some of these on my list! The Giverny is such a lovely spring scarf and the Cocagne is so perfect with the little buildings and the bridges.
I love the old Métro stations. Les triplés: View attachment 3673044
