Actually...this reminds me of the Black Friday / Christmas commercials from a few years ago. Everyone had their faces pressed against the glass saying "open," "open." I sadly forget which retailer that commercial is from.

I got an email that said the sale starts tonight but it didn't have a specific time

I received the same email with no time listed; however it states it ends Sunday. But on top of the page it states it starts at 2ET.
