Someone claims she is a "Fendi" rep. and she is reporting me?

Hi,
I am a well-respected seller (small-time) on eBay for nearly 17 years. About 2 years ago, I started buying and re-selling things to supplement my income due to my student loans from law school, because the payments just became unbearable.

My "formula" is that I always, always, always...you get the idea post clear, color-accurate (e.g. taken with a high-end camera, not a cell phone) pictures that showcase the authenticity hallmarks and I show my receipt to also prove authenticity, but I cover up my prices and any personal information.

I just got a message from someone, and I'll protect this person's username...for now, I guess, but I am, let's say, a little more than pissed off, and I'm not sure what to do.

Here is my listing, and the reason is that it hasn't sold is that people are idiots and keep offering $100-$150, as if I paid anywhere near that little...feel free to call the Woodbury Commons store and they'll F-ing verify I bought it. Seriously W-T-F????
x members cannot post their own IDs or listings

First message (clearly cut off): I'm a fendi buyer. This seems unauthentic as this p

Second message: This particular clutch goes for way more than $350. I know a website that has those tags and certificates which is not given to anybody by Sunday. As a Fendi rep I will need eBay to investigate as this is not a real Fendi bag

SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE F? I have NEVER encountered anything like this!!!!! My response is below:

I'm sorry, but no one has EVER questioned the authenticity of any of my items. This is the small case, which did retail for $350. Not to be rude, but before you ruin my reputation and get my eBay account suspended for no reason whatsoever, I do not know for sure if you are a Fendi representative, because you clearly do not know the Fendi line at all.
As you can CLEARLY see both on the Fendi and Neiman Marcus websites, there IS a pouch that sells for $350, just that it is the current monster design:

If you did work for Fendi, you would also know that the serial number is correct, the authenticity hallmarks are correct, and my receipt is real. You would also be able to see that every single item I have on eBay is 100% authentic, backed up by clear pictures showcasing the authenticity hallmarks, accurate colors, AND receipts.

I would appreciate it if you don't ruin me because of a baseless accusation.

Thank you.

Now that my heart is pounding in my chest about the possibility of my eBay account being suspended for "fake" goods, and it's 2:30 AM and I can't sleep but need to, what on earth do I do? Thanks for the help.

That message isn't from a Fendi rep. If Fendi's VeRO representative questioned that listing, they would have reported to ebay as an infringement violation and your listing would have been removed with VeRO contact information in the takedown email.

The message is from some jerk trying to scare you and if there's a way to report the message or the member, do so.

Ebay's list of VeRO reps isn't complete since VeRO isn't required to have an ebay account to report infringement. So even if they aren't listed, they could have reported a listing.

Since you have that person's ebay ID, my suggestion is to ignore her but report to Fendi that someone claiming to represent them is threatening you.

Thank you! I will definitely do that, and I was just on hold for eBay for 20 minutes before I was hung up on -- nice. My fear is that she is going to try to report my listing and it will get taken down. I have reported numerous listings, but I KNOW for a fact they were fake -- Longchamp Neos in colors that were never produced, Neos or Nylons with dustbags, horrible/horribly obvious fakes etc. And if you do get a listing taken down (I'm not talking about VeRO but the regular "report a listing") that's not good either, and I won't be able to relist it. My feedback is impeccable except for one person who dinged me a 4 or something on shipping a week or so ago -- hate that because it's there for a year! I would have over 800 ratings if more people left feedback, but oh well. You can see from how many I've left for other people!

Either way, it's pretty obvious that my listing is for a REAL item, and that's why I'm annoyed.
