Thanks blueberry! Wearing it today but tucking it in so colleagues don't think I'm secretly a third grader!!
I plan to give to my daughter when she's older (currently 13 months old).
A jeweler I know in Hawaii. She and her family have been in the jade business for generations. She has her own business doing a modern take on jade and other precious gemstones (including fancy color diamonds). She and her mother also travel to jewelry trade shows, and I've met them in NYC before at a show through their invite. She has another Hello Kitty face in lavender jade with over 1.5 carats of pink diamonds in her ears! One decked out Hello Kitty!
Everything is handmade/hand carved. Her company website is jadebynikolai.com but she has a lot of stuff not on the site. I can PM you her email if you're interested. She said she has one more Hello Kitty in black jade.
