I don't own either, but I like the simplicity of the first one better. The second one is too much gold for me, but that's my personal opinion. Then again it depends what you're going to use it for. First one you could be a little more rough with, say if you're going to use for school or work.

I agree that I'd be afraid studs would fall off so go for the other one!

I would go for the all leather. There are too many studs to worry about! I just got the dusty rose today I am probably going to sell it though as its too small for me... It's beautiful though, I just don't know if I can justify keeping it if I won't wear it often.
