Hermes blue sapphire vs colvert

This is a beautiful combo - obviously H thinks so as it comes in So K, Evelyne, and Double Sens at least!

I disagree however that Bleu Saphir is a flat dark blue. It is simply a completely different color on different leathers. In Clemence it is nearly navy; in Chèvre it's like a bright jewel tone, like a real sapphire; in Swift it's richer/deeper but still a pretty saturated color; in Epsom like many colors it is quite bright.

Some H colors just vary more by leather than others :shrugs: Colvert and Bleu Saphir are nothing alike IMO.

I totally agree with this, it's so varied on different leathers.

In general, Saphir has more of a true blue and has some red in it, while Colvert has green undertones.
If you are familiar with Pantone colors, Saphir has a lot of reflex blue in it, a cobalt like blue with red or violet.

Your Colvert / turquoise combo sounds lovely!

I don't have anything in Colvert but I can speak towards blue saphir in Epsom. I have a Constance in this color. At first I thought it was too dark. Once I started carrying her I'm so much in love. In the day time the blue is so rich and goes with everything. It pops is a classic and classy way!
