should I - Lady dior

hy everyone
this might sound like a strange question
but I have an opritunity to get a great deal
on a pretty new leather lambskin lady dior bag
gold hardware in WHITE large size

though I think the color would fit summer
and I do lack this color in small bag (have big panarea in white)
i'm terrified about color transfer and damaging the bag - the leather

am i over reacting and I should take the plunge
or save for a different color
or consider getting pattent instead?

this bag is going to be used for everyday as a shoulder bag
I currently own a medium black with silver hardware

I wouldn't go for white if it's an everyday bag for such a price tag.

As an everyday bag, the white will get dirty easily. If the price is really great, then get it, but don't use it everyday. Just wear it on days when it matches your outfit.

You can still experience colour transfer and then you cannot really do anything. On lambskin you can at least try to clean it.

I agree. And with lambskin, you can get the bag re-dyed by a leather repair specialist/cobbler when it gets really dirty. Can't do that with patent leather.

Hi! My red patent Lady D got a transfer from my jeans and it's there still. So Imho your money will be best spent in another colour than white and non-patent. HTH!

Avoid white, will be a source of disappointment if there's any colour transfer.. which to some extent is inevitable.
IMO, i prefer bags I don't need to baby too much-- when I'm out I don't want to be thinking of whether the bag is rubbing against my jeans/ tees etc. White is a no-no for that reason. Just my 2cents :buttercup:
