Medium Paraty Strap

Has anyone successfully shortened the strap on their medium Paraty?

I'm only 5 feet tall and I find the strap to be too long for my frame. I'm thinking of bringing it to a place that fixes and rehabs designer bags but I'm afraid of the cost.

Has anyone done this to their Paraty? If yes, how much did it cost you? Any info would be great. Thanks!

No, not a bad idea though - let me know how it goes. My paraty is from 2011 & the strap is shorter than the 2012 - present. I am 5'3 - I am happy with my length. But I tried on a 2013 paraty & the strap was way too long for me.

Taking it to a shop in Manhattan tomorrow that specializes in designer handbag repairs...Hopefully it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. The strap on my small Chloe is the perfect lenght...hoping to have that as the end result.
