I looked for a long time to find a near perfect vintage Murakami Cherry Blossom papillon. Murakami has directed his first film, Jellyfish Eyes. He recently did a few screenings in the US and I brought my bag. I unexpectedly got to meet him. He seemed surprised and excited to see this bag from 2003. Fortunately, someone lent me their gold marker and he graciously signed the bag. And he even drew a flower on the bag too. So now I have my own, original Murakami! A bag I will never sell.
