It is no much smaller than city
Just a little bit smaller in width and town is more narrow in depth compared to city
But for me it just the right size and I love the long strap

I can fit a kelly wallet,coin purse,ipad mini,or reg ipad,too,mu case,keys,sunnies&phone
Pretty much I bring the same things with my city
I find Town is cuter and more comfy with the long strap,I can do crossbody

The bag is slouchy so it collapses
