If you notice the baguette is sticky inside also.
So I'm using Simple Green and water with a scrub brush and gloves to clean the bag.
Simple Green is biodegradable and it's taken off the sticky layer along with the date code inside the baguette

No more Sticky bag! Now it looks like fabric inside the two bags!

When the bag drys completely I'll post more pics!

Your handbag is amazin. What a beautiful job? What was the cost of repair and where was it done?

French company speedy repair. I picked up a vintage speedy for a STEAL. But it was in bAAAAD shape. I delivered it Friday to the local leather shop for repair. I just want the bag for everyday run around. Here are photos of the patient. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1367893902.217470.jpg All four corners are damaged the handles are nasty and the inside just smells and has a green ink stain. Really in bad shape. Before taking it in I cleaned the canvas with a damp magic eraser and micro fiber cloth. The amount of dirt that came off this bag was just simply nasty. Stay tuned. I pick the bag up this Friday.

Hi! So I came across an estate sale....went thinking I would find antique furniture, etc. and instead I landed a Louis Vuitton Onatah Suede bag in yellow.. GORGEOUS. Now I noticed there are some marks on it that appear to be water damage. Is there a way to fix this? It's not too bad, and I only paid 250.00 for the bag (came with dust bag, box and original receipt, etc.) but I hate that it may not be fixable....
