I think it depends on how tall you are and overall build. I tried it on when I was choosing between this and the Kusama nf and it was a bit high when worn crossbody.

well the strap is not designed as a cross body purse but still long enough to wear as cross body (i`m quite tall and slim)..
i picked palermo as a work purse and carried (just 2 days ) it on shoulder and hand.. but will definitely try it as cross body on specific occasions like shopping and so on..
