Hi all,

I need to buy (tomorrow) a wallet for a 16 year old boy. The options are:

1) LV Bi-fold DE ($360 + tax)

I agree. Damier graphite is great for guys. My fiancé loves his pocket organizer. I believe the price is around $330 for the new style.

Thanks. :smile: Graphite is nice and would be my first choice for an older male. For a sixteen year old, I'm more inclined to go with DE.

I am now mostly trying to decide between LV DE (option 1) and Guccissima (option 4). :smile:

Does he have a brand preference? I do like Gucci, but I consider LV to be a bit more "exclusive" since it can't be bought on sale or from other retailers. (I am like a moth to flame and am totally falling for their genius exclusivity marketing strategies!!!)
At least I know I'm brainwashed. I'm drinkin' the Louis Vuitton Koolaide!!!

Thanks. :smile: That's a good point about the sales, I almost forgot about that. This is a wallet for a high school boy, and I've no idea what high school kids use these days. :smile:

Well, I can say that any of those are pretty expensive for a 16 year old child, and a boy at that. My nephew when he was 16 would rather have had a $15 wallet that had his fav rock band on it. Plain black or brown leather is good too. If someone gave him a Gucci wallet he would use it, but like most boys and men, wouldn't appreciate the fact that u spent over $300 for it. Of course that's up to u tho, but if I were going to buy a 16 year old boy something expensive, I'd spend it on one of his hobbies. My nephew loves drumming, so music equipment is his fav gifts.

I wouldn't give any guy an LV with the same print that is on my bags. If he saw me carrying that bag with that print he would b like WTh?! No and no.
