I just purchased a vintage Louis Vuitton Trunk and I am so excited. I was wondering if anyone else has one and if so, how to you clean it? Are there any special product that you use on it and how to you care for it?

Pics please!!! And also the best bet is take it to LV.. Apparently they do a great job on cleaning them and then when it comes back, it will look like new!! The risks of ruining that trunk by cleaning it by yourself is just way too high and you never know, LV might want to buy it from you, as it may be a historical trunk that they want to put in their museum!

I have 1 my DH won in an auction from Heritage Auctions. Mine was in really good shape & I didn't do anything to it except had a stand custom made to use it as a coffee table. I thought the wear on it gives it character.... Plus the initials on it are T.C.B. (which my dh jokes and says was Elvis Presley's initials he used for Taking Care of Business).

Here are some from the seller. I haven't gotten it yet, but when I do, I will post better picture.
