Woven leather???

Does anybody own an RM with woven leather? I have been eyeing a "Luscious" hobo and it looks really gorgeous. I've seen woven MACs too. But I'm wondering how durable it would be, and if it is still soft. Also wondering if they are really woven, or embossed like the basketweave? If anybody has one/or seen one please let me know!! :smile:

I have a woven MAM but I'm not sure it's the same type of woven as the Luscious. Here's a pic. It is actual woven leather with a cloth backing behind it. I love this bag. It is soft and smooshy, just like I like my RMs. :smile:

Awesome! That's gorgeous, thanks for sharing!! I wonder if the "new" woven has cloth backing behind it too.

The "woven" part of this bag is actually fabric, which to me looks like all sorts of different fibers and fabrics woven together. I saw some samples of different bags in person at the LA SS and also this same bombe MAM in person at bloomingdales. The fabric does not seem very durable IMO because some of the different fibers were starting to come undone. HTH!
