Hi ladies!

I love boots, especially tall ones (i.e. knee high, OTK, and thigh high)! I've been reading a lot of TPF posts on tall boots - but they seem to be posted on many different threads. Although many of the topics are related - there are still a lot of different threads on:

Knee High Boots
OTK Boots
Thigh High Boots
Tall boot fit tips for larger calves and smaller calves
Fashion inspiration and styling tips for tall boots
etc.

So... how about a thread for boot lovers... where we can contribute our love for tall boots, show off our own collections and mod pics, and answer common/repeat fit tip questions. :smile:

(I'll start off by adding some of my pictures. ;))

For reference, I'm short (and on the slender side) with 12" calves. I try on a lot of boots. So far, I haven't discovered any hard and fast rules for fit... except to say that tall boots for petite ladies with slender calves are not impossible to find. :smile:

Here are my 3 tallest boots (OTK & thigh high). All are stretchy, so they fit great! On the other hand, I do find styling them a little challenging. These are three outfits that I liked, but I'd probably only leave the house in the first one. :P

Love your boots, glad I am not the only one who loves boots - thanks for the link to my thread

I really enjoy looking at the magazines and catwalk shows to see what designers are doing with boots each season and how they combine them with outfits and then thinking how I can making them into something practical to wear.

I have to admit after a long struggle I've finally taken the plunge with a pair of Altuzarra OTK boots from this season - can't wait to get them.

As for the Altuzarra boots, did you buy the ones on your thread? If so: oh my! Those made quite a statement, especially the tassels. Congrats on the new addition! Considering the "conservative" description of your outfits w/OTK boots (below the knee skirts + OTK boots), I'd love to hear how you'll style your new boots. ;)

I also enjoy fashion, especially runways and editorials. But, I love seeing pics of anyone in their boots for inspiration, even if I'm not brave enough to try it myself. :P

Yes they are - I am planning to wear them over leggings or jeans, although will try with some of my skirts/dresses.

im a big lover of boots too and like all your looks.
I have 2 flat OTK and 1 heeled OTK, and just a few other heeled ones that just reach the knee...the rest are booties

Now, this is just tall boot thread then? Just knee high boots and Over the knee boots?

There's already a boot collection thread (with beautiful pictures of tall boots), but it isn't very active. So feel free to post any boot in this thread. Why not, right? :smile:

As for me, I have several knee high boots, too. But I have just one pair of short boots. :P
