History of the bag: I just bought this bag at a yard sale sale. Honestly, they were selling it for a $1, I bought it because I thought it was cute, but, as I started looking at it, it made me wonder if it is a true vintage bag.
Comments:
Interior feels like very soft chamois like leather material. Smells of leather. Zipper is a YKK, zipper charm has no color loss, is not chipping, etc. Stitching is straight, all edging is leather. Leather strap.

I'm more curious than anything if it is real!

You certainly get me doing my Gucci research goodric. I have no idea about Gucci Galleria, sound a bit fishy to me but since it looks like such a gorgeous bag I will try to find out something about it.



My zippers (original) are very distinctive: brass cloured, no writing, have little ridges, sharp and pointy pulls and with brown leather tags to make them even longer. They are also brown to match the bag so IMO the zipper in your bag was changed probably as a repair. Sorry. I will try to remember to take pics of my zippers for you to show. Please remind me again if I dont get back to you.

I hate to be a pest, but would you mind sharing photos of your bag and the zipper pulls? I noticed the outside tab on mine says "Victory" but the zipper pull on the inside pocket says "Three Star". The pocket lining is plain brown.

If its real it's a re-issue of 1960s bag but between 2000 and 2005. I've never seen this reissue bag IRL but the little stirrup buckle is like on 2 of my bags (2003 and 2004). Frida first designed for Gucci in 2002 and it bares many of her hallmarks (even the fact its a reissue) but it might be a couple of years earlier. The fact I dont remember it might have something to do with I was a lot more interested in Guccis RTW at the time. I'm pretty sure its from a Summer 2002 collection, certainly the right colours

This flat hobo shape goes all the way back to 1959 (and was just called the half-moon hobo) but the double GG rounded logo was first used 1973. If its large it will be from the travel section. I can't tell for sure what date the actual bag is just from the outside, I need to see the Gucci signature or the tag, the zips and so on...
