AUTHENTICATE this COACH

Hi ladies, have not been here in a very long while as I took a break from Coach, but I've been falling in love with some recent designs lately so I'm here asking for help on the Kristin Embossed Satchel #17084. I've searched all the Kristin threads looking at all of your purchases and have not found one of the bag that I'm looking at on ebay. I want to be sure that it authentic.

I'm waiting for the seller to send me a pic of the creed for the first link.

Also, acording to Coach, the hangtag wasn't used across the Coach line until 1974 and is DIDN'T look like a guitar pick! The shape of that hangtag looks like the fake leather "samples" that fakers used to put on some of the counterfeit Signature Stripe bags a few years ago.

I'd have to see a lot more proof before I'd believe that was a Coach. I know they did some early pebbled leather bags but that lining just makes be cringe - since when, other than the Cashin disigns, did Coach use fabric linings in the early styles?

I also don't think Coach ever put their own name on metal zipper pulls.

To set the record straight, I took awhile to get back to this, and I waited too long to message the seller, but when I did, the seller got back to me immediately, said she tried to end the auction but couldn't because it was about to end, but was cancelling the sale. I can't tell for sure but it looks like she ended the auction by saying the item sold. At any rate, I believe she is doing the right thing.

This is an authentic fob that comes on the Daisy made for factory purses and backpacks. The seller didn't purchase this separately from Coach - it came on a purse and they removed it, so by saying that it was never attached to a purse, I think they are lying unless there were extras in the backroom at the factory store and they got one of those. It is authentic, though.

When asking about recent styles and when they were available, I suggest you do a Search at the main Coach forum, or add a post there asking for those details. There are only a few people who follow the Authenticate forum and even fewer are experienced with newer styles. The Main forum is the place for the information you're asking, if no one can verify or give details on the bag, then come here.

Both the Ebay and Bonanza links seem to be broken. Please check back and re-copy and re-post them, using the exact format requested in POST 1 of this thread. Please read the entire post, some instructions may have changed recently.

Also Search this forum for recent posts about the same seller or style name since I remember already seeing one request for authentication for that or a very similar bag. Post # 1 also suggests the same.thing

Hi, I'm sorry about asking questions on the wrong forum regarding recent styles, etc. but I thought I was also requesting for authentication in the Authenticate This section. I did go back and read the correct procedure for requesting authentication. Sorry:sad:

It looks like a case of picture theft. Seller jas_nic has watermarked their photos but seller lynntx123 is using at least one the same photos and has cropped the probably-stolen photo to remove the watermark.

Right now I wouldn't buy from EITHER of them until I found out who the actual owners of the photos are (eta - SEE BELOW). I'll be contacting the seller that uses the watermarked photos.

ETA - seller lynntx123 seems to have a habit of "borrowing" photos and auction texts. That's the one to avoid.

lynntx123 copied the text (exactly) of one of the auctions that my boyfriend listed as well. It was a completed listing (that had just ended), but I saw it after he re-listed it again.
