I don't know if it is possible, but Rob looks even better post screening! I wonder if he still feels nauseous watching himself act. If so, you can't tell now. Chuffed expressions suit him well. He really stepped out with this role and looks like many industry people have noticed! Congratulations to Rob and to the movie!

More Cannes critcs have weighed in according to the spreadsheet above. Cosmopolis is in neck and neck position for 4th best reviewed movie at Cannes!

Today's the day of inundating y'all with pics, interviews, and BIG, BIG news! Rob's been confirmed to be in a Martin Scorsese film!!!!!!!!!! It's titled, "The Band". So, let's go down Rob's project list, shall we?

1. Mission: Blacklist
2. The Rover
3. The Band
4. Hate Mail (IDK if this is fully confirmed :shame:, but I'm including it here since his name was mentioned by different news outlets).
5. A second Cronenberg film (still untitled). Cronenberg must be really fond of Rob to already put him in another one of his films...maybe this can be a partnership like we see of Johnny Depp/Tim Burton and Leo DiCaprio/Scorsese!

We'll be seeing Rob in films for a very long time! I'm so thrilled for him!

The "Cosmopolis" screening just ended, and the standing ovation lasted 15 minutes!!!! It's been getting fantastic reviews, by and large, especially for Rob! There is a google document that someone created which compiled all the Cannes films and the reviewers' scores. I'll have to find it and post it all for you to see later.

I also love this video of Rob and Sarah from Le Grand Journal...they're goofing around and taking pics of each other, even 'mugshots', LOL! Cuuuuute!

Yes, Kristen got booed, but the first time was at the 'On the Road' photocall. She failed to stop on the carpet for solo pics,and she failed to stop for autographs. Um, it should be noted that ROB stopped for autographs at her premiere and at his premiere. What's up with that??! At least for her own film, she should be courteous enough to sign autographs, no?

Kristen flipped the double bird at the press, and she booed right back at the French press, as well. After which she got booed during her red carpet premiere, said 'I hate you' to a professional, paid photographer (not pap), and finally got booed at the Cosmopolis premiere (as well as apparently inside the screening). I'm sure the French also 'fondly' remember her shouting "FREEZE TO DEATH" to the paps the last time she was in Paris.

After all that, I personally think the booing is well-deserved. She thinks she can get away with acting so poorly without consequences? Nope, Cannes is of similar caliber as the Oscars. I really think she was a fool to behave that way...it'll be interesting to see what ramifications will follow in terms of her future fim roles.

Rob secured 3 films while in Cannes (well, at least they were announced while he was there). I don't think she secured even one. Who wants to hire someone who can't even properly promote her own film and who gets booed all the time, ya know?

The one with Scorscese is about Bod Dylan's band right? Hopefully Rob will be able to get involved in the music side of things a little bit! I'm still keen on him making an album one day. I kinda like his mumble-singing!

He is utterly charming w/ his fans at every event- I don't get why KStew has to look like she's doing the world a big huge favor by standing there for a photo...........little brat!

Did you see in the video with her stumbling away and trying to hide and all the security following her they end up knocking over a police officer? Not Nice. The comments on the youtube clip are hilarious. So many over-reactions and aggressive comments about the photographers! Who somehow didn't cause Rob any distress entering the building?

Reece looks fab in Cannes- she's another 'class-act' imo. She doesn't let the constant pap pictures get to her and just lives her life.

Love the cute picture with the girl and Rob leaning over! Very nice of him! (and yet another example of the differences between Rob and K!)

haha. Is that them both fixing the earpieces they use for translations? All of the Cast and Cronenburg were fiddling with them during one of the interviews during the photocall. It was quite funny, Cronenburg kept on pulling his out! I think the sound must be funny with one of those.

Ahhh! Rob on the Soundtrack would be all kinds of awesome. We can hope! I played a friend of mine a few of the songs he's sung at gigs that have been recorded and she just laughed at me. Told me I only liked it because it was him and that if it was anyone else I'd be complaining about his mumbling!

He really is soooo charming. He always treats his fans with respect and takes time out for them. So down-to-earth...

I don't understand her reasons either. It's work, she should be used it. She started in the industry when she was 9, and she needs to sell herself and her projects. She isn't a child any more so she has to stop acting like one. She is quite off putting.

I must have missed that one! I only caught this one because I heard she was acting really obnoxiously and drawing undue attention to herself, whereas Rob was just being very 'normal' about it and calmly strolling along.

LOL, her stans are ridiculous. Everyone gets blamed but her. It's the photographers being intrusive...it's the loud screaming that freaked her out...it's because she had a hard day already (how'd you like being booed)...blah, blah, blah. It's always some sort of excuse. It's never because of her.

Oh completely agree. Reese is definitely classy w/how she acts towards paparazzis. She goes about her business and doesn't give them the satisfaction.
